On a sunny weekend in Los Angeles, Tapioca Express proudly participated in the highly anticipated 華人節・台灣珍奶節 (Taiwan Boba Festival), an important cultural event organized by the Chinese American Association of Los Angeles (華人協會).

This annual festival celebrates the global influence of Taiwanese culture—most notably, its world-famous invention: boba milk tea.

As one of the pioneering boba brands in the U.S. since 1999, Tapioca Express was honored to be invited as a featured vendor

to help share the story and flavor of boba culture with the broader American audience. The event drew hundreds of attendees from both local and neighboring communities who came to enjoy authentic Taiwanese food, entertainment, and of course—boba.

Tapioca Express proudly offered 100 handcrafted boba drinks, which sold out in less than 30 minutes, showcasing the overwhelming love and enthusiasm for our signature drinks. Our booth, decorated with vibrant visuals and interactive menus, received enthusiastic feedback from both longtime fans and curious newcomers eager to experience the taste of Taiwan.

This successful event not only introduced more people to the roots of Taiwanese milk tea culture but also reinforced Tapioca Express’s mission to deliver high-quality, trend-forward drinks while honoring our cultural origins.
